A story I remember was from a Movie I used to watch and it was the Fox and the Hound. This was a Disney movie, about a Dog and a Fox and a dog wanting to hang out, but they can't, because of their backgrounds. It's important to me because it told me a story about race and who you can hang out with.

I told my friend Danielle why race should not be separated. She replied: "No I don't, we must have progression to go forward."
I always want to preserve this story, because current events we are shown race is a big thing in our life. With the fox and  the Hound it shows us that race shouldn't matter and we should just be friends to be friends.
Now to father stories, I was never able to relate to this. My Dad never really told me any stories, he would tell me about his childhood. So I was left out on those type of stories, but at least I had media to learn valuable lessons.

  1. This is a very good movie for children to learn a good moral from. I try to get my son movies like this and also books. One of the best books that teaches good life lessons in my opinion is "Oh The Places You Will Go", by Dr. Seuss. If you think of any books that have good lessons like this let me know. We are always adding to our family library!
