The Towpath Trail

The Towpath Trail is trail that reaches from Bolivar, Ohio to Massillon, Ohio and is 30 miles long. There is so much history and community behind this trail. So many different kind of people go there. For me it's a place that I go to, to take walks with my boyfriend and his son, walk my dog or just to take walks by myself to think. The Towpath is long and some parts are just trails of dirt and some parts are bridges. Some of it you are walking to where you hear cars race on the highway and some parts are full of trees and nature and you hear all these birds singing. It can be so pretty!

The kinds of people that go there are everyone that is apart of the community. There are those who go to hike, walk there dogs, go on runs, ride there bikes or to simply learn about the history of the Towpath Canal. They can even take a boat to ride in the canal. This is a place for people to go and visit and make memories with families and friends.
The towpath is seen as a pillar of the community it is a free and fun place to go and be able to get outside and spend time in the community.
This trail isn't even just good for the small village of Bolivar it's good for a good portion of Ohio. It allows communities for thirty miles and throughout all different counties. This brings together smaller communities together and creates one larger community.
It is a place for anyone and everyone to enjoy!
